Find out how Jack puts the Me in WME.
Name: Jack Genesin
Role: Account Manager
A little about myself:
From the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne, I’m a past basketball enthusiast, making my way to state level after training for 13 years before being shot down with injury. From here, I made my way through a business marketing degree and developed a keen interest for anything website and digital-related. Other keen interests of mine include photography, travel, coffee, AFL and beers on a Friday night.
When was the first time you heard about the internet?
This is a tough one to remember, but I would say the first memory I have of the internet is getting home from primary school as quickly as possible just to reconvene with my friends on MSN Chat and play Miniclip arcade games for as long as possible – that is until Dad cracked it about using too much of our minimal monthly bandwidth.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The fact that there is something new to learn every day in the ever-changing and developing digital industry.
Aside from previously mentioned interests above, my biggest hobby is my photography business and website: www.partyphotographers.melbourne. Starting out from what was just a hobby, I couldn’t not use the skills I’d learnt in this role to turn it into something a little bit bigger.
The first year of my life was spent in Kuching, Malaysia.
