The Client

Camilk is a worldwide supplier of camel milk, promoting the health benefits and great taste of the drink as an alternative to standard dairy milk. They joined forces with WME Group in July of last year and were greeted with the enthusiasm of their Digital Marketing Manager, Hugo Hartles.

The Challenge

When Camilk came through to us, they weren’t very well known within the Australian market for their products. Although their AdWords work seemed to be generating feedback, there was little organic traffic from Australian customers. Their goals were to break into the Australian camel milk market and improve their brand status to potential customers, helping them to understand the benefits of their products. Through all of this, they also wanted to boost their sales.

With this in mind, WME started to research and implement tactics that would help the business reach their desired outcomes; helping them to make a splash within the Australian marketplace whilst also focusing on boosting their organic traffic and sales.

The Strategy

WME started an overhaul of Camilk’s SEO, implementing a new strategy, including 20 keywords selected by the WME Tech Department. These keywords were weaved throughout their website in revised page content to optimise the site for the Google Search Engine. Take a look below to see the incredible results they achieved!

The Outcome

In the month they started with us, July 2017, Camilk had 1/20 keywords ranking on page one of the Google Search Engine with an average ranking position of 54th. Within 7 months, that number changed dramatically to 18/20 keywords on page one with an average ranking position of 4th. Their organic traffic also saw an improvement within this period, moving from roughly 149 organic clicks to 634 by February of 2018.
