There’s No WME Without ‘Me’: Introducing Graphic Designer Edwin
This week we are introducing Edwin, one of the key members of our design team. As a strong creative force behind the company, WME would not be the same without him and his zest for life.
Name: Edwin Orozco
Role: Graphic Designer
A little about myself:
I am an art lover, and I really love art in general. I’m passionate about photography, painting, design, fashion, films and everything in between. I have spent my whole life creating and learning new things every day.
I came from a small town in a small country, where you couldn’t get everything you wanted, but you had to find the way to create it and keep going.
I love spending weekends with my family and friends having dinner and dancing. Playing soccer with my son, watching movies with my wife, or working in some kind of music project.
When was the first time you heard about the internet?
When I was a teen. I remember waiting for a turn on a public library computer to find information about music or painters. I had to wait for a few hours because there were only 2 or 3 computers connected to the internet, and of course lots of kids waiting to find something.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
What I like most about working at WME, being part of such a diverse team. I love design and everything I do, but the best thing is the fact to work with so many different people, either because of their culture, their country, their profession, etc.
Hobbies:
I think in my life I have gone through all the hobbies. From song writing, painting, dancing, swimming, cycling, drawing. I love music, my guitar, my piano, my camera. One of my biggest hobbies is children’s books illustration.
Interesting fact:
l dance to salsa music like a master!
