A little about myself…
I am originally from Venezuela and have been in Australia for four years. It has been one of the best experiences ever. I am a father completely in love with his daughter, and I always manage to keep a smile, no matter what situation life throws at me. For me, happiness keeps you healthier than you can imagine.
I found the opportunity to join WME and discovered the true meaning of working for a company that is run on passion and dedication. For me, this is what makes a successful company.
When was the first time you heard about the internet?
I heard this unforgettable dial-up sound when my brother was surfing the internet. I asked myself ‘what is that?’, and I have been a fanatic of technology and programming ever since. My brother is my mentor and inspiration in this field, which has led me to this whole new world. Internet technology has advanced tremendously, from sourcing information via diverse sites to having a personalised touch where you can simply say “Hey Siri” or “Okay Google” to get it done!
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is to be able to deliver a satisfying development solution to the end user. This not only allows me to meet the fundamental requirements of the solution, but also work towards continuous improvement for the overall performance. I see every challenge encountered by the end user as an opportunity for me to strive and discover new ways to tackle the issue. There is nothing more enjoyable than to see the solution up and running with active utilisation.
